The Virtual Table of Laurie Reed
Hello, my name is Laurie Reed and I have been carving for about 25 years. I found my niche in carving after my very 1st beginner carving class. I got my sister Janet Denn involved as we needed an excuse to just get together and do more things together with our kids.
I do not have a favorite art or carving style like chip carving for example. I like chip carving but I don’t just chip carve. I really love the variety of things I carve. I have carved many crosses for confirmation and first Holy Communion for my nieces, nephews, and grandkids over the years. I enjoy the design aspect of the crosses, because each one is very different, and I design them with that person in mind.
